This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to business and operational management within a large-scale industrial environment. The organization behind this role plays a key part in supporting essential infrastructure projects through the production and distribution of construction and building materials. Sustainability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement are central to how the business operates.
This is a paid, full-time summer internship running for approximately 10 weeks, starting in late May 2026.
Location: On-site position at an operational facility in Oklahoma.
The Role
As a Business Operations Intern, you will work closely with site leadership and operational teams to support day-to-day business activities. The role is designed to provide a practical understanding of how production sites are managed, combining administrative responsibilities with on-the-ground exposure to operations.
Key Responsibilities
Organize and lead recurring performance discussions focused on production targets and cost control
Review financial reports and assist in identifying opportunities to reduce operating expenses
Coordinate with suppliers and gain familiarity with equipment and inventory requirements
Support administrative activities related to site operations, including scale and logistics functions
Assist site leadership in the daily operation and management of the facility
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and health standards at all times

Requirements include:
Enrollment in an undergraduate program in business management, administration, or a related field
Strong academic performance

Willingness to spend time in the field to gain firsthand operational insight
Work Schedule & Environment
Full-time, on-site role (40 hours per week, MondayβFriday)
Combination of office-based work and time spent in and around operational facilities
Interns are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the worksite
Occasional travel may be required for site visits, learning activities, or intern-related events
