This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to business and operational management within a large-scale industrial environment. The organization behind this role plays a key part in supporting essential infrastructure projects through the production and distribution of construction and building materials. Sustainability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement are central to how the business operates. This is a paid, full-time summer internship running for approximately 10 weeks, starting in late May 2026. Location: On-site position at an operational facility in Oklahoma. The Role As a Business Operations Intern, you will work closely with site leadership and operational teams to support day-to-day business activities. The role is designed to provide a practical understanding of how production sites are managed, combining administrative responsibilities with on-the-ground exposure to operations. Key Responsibilities Organize and lead recurring performance discussions focused on production targets and cost control Review financial reports and assist in identifying opportunities to reduce operating expenses Coordinate with suppliers and gain familiarity with equipment and inventory requirements Support administrative activities related to site operations, including scale and logistics functions Assist site leadership in the daily operation and management of the facility Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and health standards at all times Candidate Profile This opportunity is ideal for students who are eager to learn how business decisions are applied in an operational setting.
