Role Description
This is a remote internship role for a Game Programmer Intern, specialized in Unreal or Unity. The intern will assist with the development and optimization of game mechanics, programming gameplay systems, and integrating assets into the game engine environments. They will work closely with our development team to implement object-oriented programming principles, test prototypes, and contribute to the creative and technical aspects of interactive gaming projects. Regular collaborations across various stages of game development will be an essential part of this role.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Game Programming and Game Development concepts
Proficiency in Programming with a focus on Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Background in Computer Science or a related technical field
Familiarity with Unreal Engine or Unity is highly desirable
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize code for performance and efficiency
Knowledge in AI, simulations, or AR/VR/XR environments is an added advantage
