Framewell is a Pittsburgh-based HealthTec startup building an AI-powered tool that helps everyday people understand complex healthcare paperwork and decisions with clarity, confidence, and dignity. Role Description We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager Intern who can run lightweight delivery management AND contribute technically (not a pure “meeting scheduler”). This role is ideal for someone who can translate product intent into engineering reality, keep scope tight, and unblock progress. Responsibilities • Translate goals into weekly sprint plans, task breakdowns, and clear acceptance criteria • Write and maintain tickets/user stories and keep engineering work unblocked • Coordinate a small working group (founder + interns/contractors) with tight communication loops • Track risks, dependencies, and quality issues; drive issues to resolution • Help run quick QA passes and manage release readiness for prototype milestones • Contribute technically where needed: small code changes, scripts, debugging, or implementation support (level based on your strengths) • Maintain simple documentation: decisions, requirements, and “how it works” notes Requirements • Current student or recent graduate in CS/Engineering/IS/related field (or equivalent experience) • You can read code and make basic changes in a modern codebase (language flexible) • Familiarity with agile concepts (sprints, milestones, scope control) • Strong organizational discipline and communication (you keep people aligned without drama) Nice to Have (Not Required) • Experience with Jira/Linear/Trello and writing crisp specs • Prior experience running a team project (capstone, club, internship, hackathon) • Interest in AI product development and/or privacy/security best practices Logistics • Location: Pittsburgh, PA (hybrid; schedule flexible) • Timing: Target start in early January, finish by end of February or middle of March.
