Position Announcement UVU School of Education (Secondary) is seeking a creative studio assistant to prepare place based curriculum with professors in the department. Summary Of Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Gathering, compiling, cleaning and/or entering data Assisting with transcription and/or coding of qualitative data Assisting in programming, coordinating, and conducting survey research, focus groups and other data collection efforts Cleaning and analyzing data Assisting in producing, cleaning, and analyzing data files And producing summaries of data from data sets. Assists with department’s social media posts and digital signs Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications Must be a current UVU student Applicants should have place based experience and be a secondary education major. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Good verbal and written communication skills Good telephone, email, and customer service skills Attention to detail Professionalism Organizational skills Computer skills (Internet, Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Good work ethic/self-motivated Ability to be a team player Ability to interact and communicate in person and on the phone with college students Willingness to try/learn new things Knowledge of Facebook and Instagram and other social media
