<>Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)>
Q: What is "EM&V"? A: EM&V stands for Evaluation, Measurement, and Verification. It is the process of using data to prove that an energy efficiency project (like upgrading insulation in a building) actually saved the energy it claimed to save.
Q: Is this open to Undergraduates? A: Yes, an undergraduate pay rate is listed ($19.10/hr), but the "Applicants should be enrolled in a graduate program" line suggests a preference for Master's/PhD students. Strong undergrads with stats experience should still apply.
Q: Is it remote? A: It is Hybrid. You likely need to be based near Albany to come into the office occasionally, but some work can be done from home.
