Pinterest is recruiting for an IT Systems Engineer Intern for Summer 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for undergraduate students interested in the infrastructure that powers a major tech company. Unlike traditional "IT support" roles, this position focuses on Systems Engineering—architecting, automating, and integrating the massive internal tools that keep Pinterest running.

This is a Remote position under Pinterest’s "PinFlex" model, offering a highly competitive salary of up to $9,000 per month. You will partner with cross-functional teams to learn how large-scale internal systems are built and managed.

Detailed Role & Key Responsibilities

As an IT Systems Intern, you will work on technical solutions for real-world collaboration and productivity challenges.

1. SaaS Architecture & Integration

You will work under the hood of enterprise-grade software stacks.

• Platform Management: Collaborate across major SaaS platforms such as Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
• Integration: Work on the architecture and automation of these tools to streamline how "Pinployees" work.
• Systems Analysis: Gain experience in configuration management and systems analysis.

2. Project Impact

• Real Projects: You won't just be watching; you will be shipping real configurations, services, and integrations.
• Communication: Openly communicate new ideas and present your work to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply?

This role is specifically for undergraduate students. Please check your graduation date carefully.

1. Academic Status (Strict)

• Degree Level: You must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program.
• Field of Study: Computer Science, IS/MIS (Information Systems), Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Graduation Window: You must be on track to obtain your Bachelor's by June 2027. (This usually means current Juniors or Sophomores).

2. Location
