SOC Analyst Intern (Cyber Security Internship)
Location: On-site / Hybrid
Duration: 6 Months

Department: Security Operations Center (SOC)
🔍 About the Role
We are opening internship positions for SOC Analyst Interns who are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to gain hands-on, real-world experience in a live Security Operations Center environment.
As a SOC Analyst Intern, you will work closely with experienced SOC analysts and incident responders to monitor security events, investigate alerts, and support incident response activities across enterprise environments.
This internship is ideal for students or fresh graduates who want to build a strong foundation in
Blue Team, SOC operations, and DFIR.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM platforms
Perform initial triage and analysis of security incidents
Investigate suspicious activities such as:
Malware alerts
Phishing attempts
Unauthorized access
Endpoint and network anomalies
Assist in incident documentation and reporting
Work with logs from multiple sources:
Firewalls
Servers
Endpoints
Network devices
Support senior analysts in:
Threat hunting activities
Incident response investigations
Post-incident analysis
Learn and follow SOC processes, playbooks, and escalation procedures
🎓 Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in:
Cyber Security
Computer Science
Information Technology
Network Engineering (or related field)
Basic understanding of:
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, ports)
Cybersecurity concepts (malware, phishing, brute force, ransomware)
Willingness to learn and work in a SOC environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
