Apple is actively looking for an intern to join their Cellular Protocol Software (CPS) team in Munich. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Cross Protocol Stack and Tooling team, which powers the productivity and efficiency of Apple’s software development.
In this role, you will use your practical computer science knowledge to drive the use of Generative AI (GenAI) for unit testing. You will collaborate with some of the most innovative software teams in the world to build tools that ensure bug-free delivery of software.
Key Responsibilities
The scope of the internship focuses on the protocol stack unit testing framework. Key tasks include:
AI/ML Automation: Contribute to AI/ML supported automation of test case creation and updates.
GenAI Exploration: Explore possibilities, improvements, and limitations of Generative AI tools.
Framework Development: Contribute to extending the unit test driver framework and documentation.
Core Development: Perform SW development, verification, debugging, code coverage, and gap analysis.
Eligibility Criteria
Apple is looking for students who are willing to learn and be mentored. Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Familiarity with C/C++.
Knowledge/Experience in the area of Generative AI tools and LLMs.
Strong software testing knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with MacOS and Linux operating systems.
Experience with Shell-scripting (bash) and automation scripts (Python, Perl).
Knowledge of Git and basic understanding of Cellular Protocol Stack.
Ability to work independently and strong communication skills.
