Apple is currently seeking a motivated Legal Intern to support its Legal and Global Security (LGS) team in Shanghai. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to apply legal knowledge in a dynamic, real-world environment within a fast-paced, tech-driven company.
Selected interns will develop practical legal skills while gaining exposure to various legal domains and jurisdictions. You will work alongside diverse teams to tackle innovative legal challenges in an ever-evolving industry.
Key Responsibilities
The Legal Intern will support the daily work of the department through the following activities:
Legal Research: Conduct in-depth research on laws, regulations, legislation development, and judicial interpretations.
Case Analysis: Assist in analyzing simple legal cases and providing preliminary legal opinions.
Documentation: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and translating legal documents.
Case Preparation: Help prepare and organize case files for hearings, transactions, and applications.
Administration: Manage legal department archives and prepare presentations.
Eligibility Criteria
Apple encourages candidates of different backgrounds to apply. Applicants must meet the following strict requirements:
Education: Must be a 4th-year undergraduate student or a Master’s program student from a law school.
Availability: Must be available to join the internship for 6-8 months and work 4-5 days a week.
Language Skills: Excellent research and communication skills (verbal and written) in both Mandarin and English.
Attitude: A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude and a desire to contribute to the team.
Preferred Qualifications
Holding the China Legal Professional Qualification.
Knowledge and passion for AI and LLM (Large Language Models).
Experience in multi-tasking and project management.
