Takeda, a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, is creating better health for people and a brighter future for the world. They are currently seeking a U.S. Tax Summer Intern for their 2026 program in Exton, PA. This position operates on a hybrid schedule (2-3 days onsite per week).
The intern will work alongside fellow tax professionals on Takeda’s 2025 federal and state tax compliance. This role offers exposure to advanced tax software (Onesource, SAP, Alteryx) and the opportunity to interact with cross-functional business partners.
Key Responsibilities
The Tax Intern will learn the fundamentals of corporate income tax compliance through the following activities:
Tax Compliance: Prepare federal and state income tax returns and quarterly estimated tax computations.
Analysis: Analyze components of taxable income, including book and tax accounting.
Software Utilization: Use Onesource, SAP, Excel, Alteryx, and Power BI for tax operations.
Provision Support: Assist with the preparation of the Q1 tax provision.
Collaboration: Team on special projects and interact with global tax team members.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. permanently without sponsorship. Additional requirements include:
Education: Must be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (Master’s preferred).
Graduation Timeline: Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2026 or later.
Academic Standing: Maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Commitment: Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) for 10-12 weeks.

Hourly Wage:$21.00 - $46.00 per hour (dependent on candidate’s school year/level).

The internship program runs for 10-12 weeks. Candidates must commit to one of the following time frames:
