This is a fully remote opportunity for students interested in the intersection of legal research, insurance policy, and artificial intelligence.

The intern will assist with critical research and analysis related to evolving insurance topics and policy language, while also supporting special projects within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Corporate Legal Intern will support the team through the following activities:

• Research: Create summaries and presentations on evolving insurance topics, including artificial intelligence.
• Policy Analysis: Analyze current policy language on specific issues (e.g., state cancellation requirements) and identify potential updates.
• Market Intelligence: Research key competitors and develop summaries of their programs.
• Project Support: Assist with special projects and other assigned tasks as needed.

Eligibility Criteria

Valorantum is looking for self-starters with an entrepreneurial spirit. Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
• Graduation Timeline: Must have a graduation date ranging from December 2026 – May 2028.
• Academic Standing: Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Experience: Experience in legal research is required.
• Attributes: A continuous learner who can work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a corporate environment balancing competing priorities.
• Interest in the insurance and/or financial services industries.
• Familiarity with investment management business or legal documentation.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour.
