CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, is offering a comprehensive Summer Internship for law students transitioning from their first to second year (Rising 2L). This program provides deep exposure to legal operations within the insurance industry, covering both corporate and litigation practices.

Key Responsibilities

The Legal Intern will support the team through the following critical activities:

• Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research on issues pertinent to the insurance sector.
• Drafting: Assist in the drafting and revision of legal documents to support CSAA's legal framework.
• Legislative Tracking: Keep abreast of legislative changes, preparing summaries and updates for the legal team.
• Collaboration: Participate in weekly staff counsel meetings to discuss ongoing cases and new legal developments.

Eligibility Criteria

CSAA is seeking proactive problem-solvers. Candidates must meet the following strict requirements:

• Education Status: Must be a Rising 2L law student (completed 1L year and entering 2L in the fall).
• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent legal drafting abilities.
• Interests: Keen interest in litigation, corporate law, and/or insurance law.
• Work Authorization: Must have authorization to work indefinitely in the US (No H1B sponsorship).
• Availability: Must be available to work full-time throughout the duration of the summer program.
